God has given you a gift with words Greg. Your honest and sincere posts always inspire and challenge me to think more deeply about difficult topics. Getting to share a little of life with you and Carol has been such a blessing! Continuing to lift you both in prayer to the Lord for His will to be done in His time-and that today He will overwhelm you with His presence and His love🤗
My visit yesterday was sweet, but short. She lit up when I entered the room. I brought her a small bouquet of daisies from my yard. She liked those. I shared a few photos of my granddaughter. I asked her if I could read a psalm and she responded, Psalm 18. After a bit, I asked her if she has a favorite hymn. She responded, "Great is Thy Faithfulness" . I sang it and some other hymns. By then, she had fallen asleep and after saying a prayer over her, I left. It's a time we all will experience, in God's time. I love you, Carol. Julie Richardson
Thank you Greg for sharing such intimate words about your love in your life, Carol. I am sad to think about what she is having to go through but knowing what she is going to look forward gives me peace. She is my sweet friend, sister and mentor. I love her deeply and pray that she will not have to suffer much more. Our prayers are with her and for you and the family. ❤️Sheila and Rick Peterson
Beautiful words to describe a season wrought w so much confusion but ultimately beauty. It’s touched me deep as I’ve gone through a lingering season while Ralph was my caretaker. I am going to keep your writing as it’s eloquent and true in describing such a time.
Please give Carol 💝 from the Swan’s. We are sad for your hardship as caregiver. It’s a lonely place. I’m grateful she has her compassionate husband by her side.
Thank you for writing a vulnerable, heartfelt devotion.
God grant that you and your precious wife may continue to be strong in His service and comforted by His grace. Praying for you both, my friend.

Thank you Kathleen… what gift it is to have friends who pray, and especially those who pray for the best things!
